Eating sweets does not give you or mean you have diabetes...Any advice on curbing sugar craving. not overweight but afraid of getting diabetes which runs in family?
You should always check with a doctor before taking on new things in your diet, especially if diabetes runs in your family. However, that said, I would replace a sugar craving with natural sugars, such as in fruit, fresh or dried. Find a cereal that has a sweet taste but check the ingredients and percentage of sugar content. If you absolutely have to have that piece of chocolate have it..but just one and not very often. Go in moderation no matter what you decide.Any advice on curbing sugar craving. not overweight but afraid of getting diabetes which runs in family?
I hate it when people say ';diabetes runs in my/their family';. Diabetes runs in everybody's family.
What?! Theres not 1 person in here who can tell me they're not related to someone with diabetes!
add tsp. of healthy oil to your diet everyday.
sunflower
safflower
flaxseed
canola
olive
these are the only ones healthy for you
Try getting sugar free popsicles and such. They also make sugar free chocolate that is REALLY good:)
