Describe some advice you received (from a friend or family member).?

You should say:

What the situation was

Who gave you the advice?

What the advice was

And explain how useful you think the advice was.Describe some advice you received (from a friend or family member).?
Situation: I had to deal with my friend betraying me by pretending to be my friend and then she would go behind my back and reveal embarassing things about me to her other friends and they would laugh about me behind my back. It was awful.

Who gave me the advice: My mom

What the Advice Was: She explained that in time, everyone learns who their true friends are. It may hurt, but in the end it makes you a stronger person and i will be better off not being around people who don't except me for who I am ( I never thought i would lose my best friend since we had been friends for 12 years but she burned me badly).

I think this advice is useful because it made me realize how important it is to be surrounded by positive people. Being around my old friend turned me into a different person which I didn't like. I wasn't being myself - i was mean, distant, and just rude. The experience taught me that there is more to life than just trying be someone else to please others and in time, you will see that your true friends will love you for the person that you are.Describe some advice you received (from a friend or family member).?
